The Autonomous University of Aguascalientes offers various support options to ensure you don't miss out on studying.

The Scholarships and Support Area, attached to the General Directorate of Educational Services, is committed to students in adverse economic situations who do not have the necessary economic resources to cover their stay at the University, thus also contributing to the reduction of school dropout rates.

The Autonomous University of Aguascalientes awards more than 3,000 scholarships each semester for high school, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels.

The main objectives of our scholarships are Expand educational opportunities by reducing inequality between social groups, contributing to the retention and timely graduation of the student population.

High school and undergraduate scholarships can be requested each semester in January and August, during the application period. of Re-registration. The scholarship lasts for 2 semesters, so one year after receiving the scholarship, you must apply again as if it were the first time.

In addition, the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), through the Aguascalientes Institute of Education (IEA), grants scholarships to undergraduate students at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes.

Similarly, the Scholarship Fund Trust for Students of Public Higher Education Institutions in the State of Aguascalientes (FIBEIPES) awards scholarships to university students to help with tuition payments.

There are also other external supports provided by the Federal Government for scholarships such as maintenance, community service, professional internships, and graduation support.
